heritable

R

Heritability Estimation from Linear Mixed Models

Provides flexible estimation of broad- and narrow-sense heritability from linear mixed models fitted with asreml or lme4. Implements commonly used estimators, including the Standard, Cullis, Oakey, Piepho, and Delta methods. Supports complex model structures, marginal and environment-specific heritability for genotype-by-environment models, and confidence intervals based on parametric bootstrap.

broom.asreml

R

Tidy Methods for ASReml-R Objects

Extracts, summarises, and tidies fitted asreml model objects into consistent, analysis-ready formats similar to those provided by broom and broom.mixed. Provides convenient access to model coefficients, variance parameters, fitted values, residuals, predictions, and other commonly used model components.

torch-openreml

Python Experimental

PyTorch-based AI-REML Estimation for Linear Mixed Models

Fits linear mixed-effects models using the Average Information REML (AI-REML) algorithm on a PyTorch backend that runs on CPU, GPU, and other available accelerators. Covariance structures are specified through a modular system of matrices and operators, with automatic or manually specified gradients.
